Solem beach towels and ponchos are made of suede microfiber. The fabric is woven from a very fine synthetic yarn. This fiber is composed of 80% polyester (including 50% recycled fibers) and 20% polyamides.
Unlike a natural fiber which is rather round in shape, those which make up our Solem microfiber towels have a more elongated surface which allows them to store water molecules more easily while drying much faster.
To the touch, the suede microfiber is soft and retains this softness even after many uses.
Interview
Our suede microfiber beach towels and ponchos, as well as our waffle microfiber bathroom towels, are woven from high-quality fibers. This fabric is highly resistant to washing, but we still suggest you follow these tips:
- Wash in warm or cold water before first use.
- Do not bleach to avoid fading the colors.
- Tumble dry low or simply air dry.
- Do not use fabric softener, as these products damage the fibers.
- Do not iron.
Microfiber dries very quickly, preventing the growth of odor-causing bacteria. There's no need to wash your towel or poncho after each use.
Simply hang to dry, you will be making a small eco-friendly gesture to save energy.
