Village Gourmet Concept - Cast Iron Skillet with Brie, Apple, and Salted Caramel Topping
Our complete gift set includes a 16cm (6.3″) diameter cast iron skillet and a bag of our delicious apple and salted caramel brie toppings.
Take a small, round 255g (8oz) brie or camembert cheese, make slits in the top layer with a knife, place it in the pan, and then top it with one of our simple toppings. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and serve warm straight from the pan. Easy and delicious!
Baked Brie with Salted Caramel Apples
All you need:
- Salted caramel apple Brie filling (included)
- 20 ml (4 tsp) of orange juice or liqueur
- 225 g (8 oz) round brie/camembert
- 1 French baguette, thinly sliced
All we do:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Score the top crust with a knife OR remove the top crust from the cheese, leaving the side and bottom crusts intact. Place the cheese cut-side up in the skillet. In a small heatproof bowl, combine both Brie filling packets with the liquid and microwave for 45 to 60 seconds. Cover the top of the cheese with the filling. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and serve with sliced baguette.
CAUTION: DISH WILL BE VERY HOT
